Foxhound - Mandy - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog
Mandy is a lovely three year old American Foxhound, the official state dog of Virginia. She has all the temperaments of a Foxhound ... loyal, sweet-tempered, gentle, friendly and companionable. She gets along with our other dogs small and large and loves being our lobby couch potato and foot warmer. Mandy was a former LAP dog adopted 2 1/2 years ago but was found running loose and picked up by a Good Samaritan. Her chip showed her belonging to the LAP Shelter; the owner never registered the dog in their name. Through our records we found the owner and she was notified. She never returned to retrieve this beautiful hound. On April 25, xxxx Mandy entered the LAP Shelter (again) from her foster home to be put on the adoption list. She will climb out of fencing.
