Rusty came to LAP in April of xxxx and was briefly adopted in xxxx. He has some issues - number one he doesn't like anything around his neck. He had been noosed and pepper sprayed by animal control and still has very bad memories of trauma around his neck area. Also, the pepper spraying was extremely painful for this sweet fellow. When he entered the shelter he had a cherry eye and we had the surgery done to remove it. Things progressed well but he ended up having to have his tear duct removed from that eye later on. Rusty does not have any vision problems and except for being a bit over weight is in good health. Rusty is playful and loves to come in the lobby and empty the dog toy box.
